Its been a while but its back to business, a lot has changed and a lot remains the same.
Today's gotcha
Drop down menus, hover menus not working in SharePoint using IE, Working in Chrome and FireFox
Seems the quick fix is to run the repair office utility which resolves the problem. Why the disparity , IE relies on office integration. The others do not. "Simple" as that.
